Due to the sacred nature of the ceremony, I cannot give much in the way of details.
I was honored to be asked to participate; and was allowed to place my staff on the altar with the pipes to be used in the lodge.(Mine included).
After the stones were placed and water poured and prayers and offerings made, we exited the lodge and followed the remainder of the ceremony outside.
During my stay in the lodge, my Grandfather spoke to me. I have still to absorb and understand the message, but feel he was pleased with the path I have chosen to follow.
At one point in the lodge, with perspiration (SWEAT) pouring off my body, I was overcome with a chill and shivering uncontrollably. I was concerned that the others would notice. The feeling and trembling passed, but upon exiting the lodge, I found my knees to feel rubbery and my head was clouded. Dancing Feathers asked if I was ok a few times before he was convinced I was not going to "pass out".
