Over 3,000 Native Indian (indigenous) dancers and singers, representing more than 500 tribes from Canada and the United States, come to Albuquerque, New Mexico annually to participate socially and competitively.
MGM Studios has a booth at the 2002 Gathering! Actors Adam Beach (Smoke Signals, Mystery Alaska) and Christian Slater are scheduled to attend along with MGM to promote the upcoming movie 'Windtalkers' about the Navajo Code Talkers.

Also scheduled to appear: 2002 Grammy® Winners Primeaux & Mike, Jay Begay, Delphine Tsinajinnie, Rita Coolidge, Litefoot, Maggie Brown, William Gutierrez, Cumulonimbus, Lindsay Wagner, and more! (subject to change)

Also, Apache Spirit Dancers, return of the Iroquois Smoke Dance, and in the spirit of celebrating all indigenous cultures, a special performance by Hawaiian Hula Dancers.
